Master of Public Administration Study Programme

International orientation of the study programme design (Asterisk- Criterion)

In the previous section (Chapter 0.1), it is explained that FISIP’s vision and missions are designed by referring to the Unpad’s strategic plan and orientation, including the goals to be globally acknowledged for providing an education service to international standards. Each study programme is specifically designed with an international orientation by considering its uniqueness and strengths, so that students have the knowledge and skills needed to compete internationally in both academic and professional settings. The main features of this international orientation strategy are:

  1. development of courses conducted in the English medium;
  2. hosting international guest lectures, joint lectures and lecture series, and inviting external supervision and examination, in collaboration with international partners;
  3. hosting international conferences, seminars, symposiums, and summer courses;
  4. developing international research networks through collaborative research project and joint publication;
  5. facilitating the international mobility of students and academics (i.e. student exchanges, academic exchanges, academic training, international internships); and
  6. administrative support for students’ and academics’ international activities;
  7. benchmarking strategy and capacity

The specific designs of international orientation strategy in each study programme is elaborated below.
